1. Edit

The Edit section allows you to save your work, cancel changes, and exit edit mode. It also contains a button to check out and check in the page.

2. Clipboard

The clipboard section supports the standard clipboard functionality found in all Office applications. Note that the standard keyboard shortcuts for these items work in the page editor.
  • CTRL+C - Copy
  • CTRL+X - Cut
  • CTRL+V - Paste
  • CTRL+Z - Undo
  • CTRL+Y - Redo

3. Font

The Font section works exactly like you expect and is consistent with all Office applications. 

4. Paragraph

  • The Paragraph section allows control of:
  • Bullets
  • Numbering
  • Indent
  • Outdent
  • Text direct (Left to right/Right to left)
  • Alignment and justification

5. Styles

The styles dropdown allows application of predefined CSS classes to page elements. SharePoint comes with a variety of predefined styles including:
  • Normal
  • Highlight
  • By Line
  • Comment
  • References
  • Caption
Note that it is possible to customize these styles and your choices may be different as a result.

 

 

 

6. Layout

The Layout section controls the layout of the entire page. There are eight layouts you can choose:
  • One column
  • One column with sidebar
  • Two columns
  • Two columns with header
  • Two columns with header and footer
  • Three columns
  • Three columns with header
  • Three columns with header and footer

7. Markup

The Markup section allows you to control the parent element for specific text and to switch from WYSISYG to HTML view for a page. Some of the Markup styles effect only the parent element type while other apply additional CSS classes.
