Create a Publishing Page

To create a publishing page quickly:

1. Select New Page from the Site Actions menu 
2. Enter a name for the new page
3. Click Create

This creates a new page with the default page layout Body only. You can change the page layout after the page is created.

Alternatively, you can specify a page layout when you create the page:

1. Select Site Actions|More Options
2. The Create dialog displays. Click Page in the Filter by section, then select Publishing Page and click Create.

3. The Create Page page displays. Enter a Title for the page and click Create.
